Deleting Internet Explorer's History
Internet Explorer keeps a detailed list of the Web sites you visit. For some odd reason, it even tosses in the names of some files you play in Media Player. When you begin typing a Web address into the address bar, Internet Explorer even uses its own version of AutoComplete to display previously visited Web sites in a drop-down box, as seen below.

To make Internet Explorer show you the list of Web sites you've visited, click its History icon (the clock with the little green wrap-around arrow). Or, hold down the Ctrl key and press the letter "h".
Unless you've specifically told Internet Explorer otherwise, a list will display every Web site you've visited in the past 20 days. (Choose View from its menu to list them either by date, alphabetically, popularity, or by the order you've visited on that particular day.)
